People with a migration history & of Jewish descent, BIPoC & those who actively oppose right-wing extremism are particularly affected by the violence. The food shops & places that represent identity, participation & community, especially for these people, were attacked very often.
BIPoC communities largely shape Berlin’s Neukölln. Diversity is what makes it lively and attractive and creates an open Berlin.
The aim of the project is to support courageous BIPoC voices to be heard. The idea emerged while working on the film project, in participatory workshops with displaced young people.

The neo-nazi party "The Third Way" is behind many incidents in Rudow. One of the main suspects in the right-wing Neukölln terror series with 73 crimes (23 of them arsons), belongs to this party. He was released from custody in 2021.

Referring to the 'Criminal Police Reporting Service in Cases of Politically Motivated Crime (KPMD-PMK)' the acoabo initiative reports on more than 500 right-wing attacks in Neukölln in the period from 2016 to 2020.
Sonnenallee is a true example of Neukölln’ diversity. Unfortunately, this street has suffered more racist attacks than any other in Neukölln.
BASTA, a group of activists based in Britz, demands the classification of right-wing crimes in Neukölln/Britz as terrorist attacks.
